Celebrating 10 Years with Speed Medical: Naomi Reflects on a Decade of Growth and Teamwork

Today, we’re delighted to be celebrating a very special milestone at Speed Medical. We’re pleased to welcome Naomi as we recognize and congratulate them on reaching 10 years of service with the business.

This is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of their dedication, commitment, and the positive impact they’ve made over the years. We’re going to ask a few questions to look back on their journey with Speed Medical, hear about their experiences, and reflect on what this milestone means to them.

 

1. Firstly congratulations! Can you tell me a bit about yourself and what was your role when you?

I first started working for speed health back in 2016 where my role was working in health insurance for Vitality in an office in Cardiff for 2 years then had my first daughter amirah and come back did the same work for Vitality, then had my other daughter Amana and not long after I come back from maternity for the 2^nd time moved over to the Rehab Team working from home due to the distance living in Cardiff and have been on the Rehab Team ever since 😊

 

2. How have you seen the business evolve over the years, and what do you think makes Speed Medical unique today?
   
   

I have seen it evolve in the Rehab Team with how many more companies that have come on board to give us work which shows how well we are doing.

 

3. What has kept you motivated to stay with Speed Medical for 10 years?

I enjoy my role on the Rehab Team and that has movivated me to stay as long as I have and I have enjoyed the work.

 

4. What does working at Speed Medical mean to you personally?
   
   

I have been supported when I have needed to be at my children’s events for school and Speed have been able to accommodate this for me and this is important to me to be able to have the work life balance and also be there for my children.

 

5. Is there a team, colleague, or leader who has had a particularly positive impact on your journey here?

The Rehab Team has been great team to work with even though I work from home everyday i still feel part of the team.

 

6. What’s one moment or achievement during your time at Speed Medical that you’ll always remember?

Getting to 10 years’ service 😊

 

7. What advice would you give to someone just starting their career at Speed Medical today?

Be a team player.

 

8. Finally, what are you most looking forward to in the next chapter of your journey with Speed Medical?

Seeing where the next ten years takes me.

Over the past decade, she has embraced new opportunities, adapted as the business has evolved and continued to provide outstanding support to our rehabilitation clients, all while balancing the demands of family life.

Her story highlights the importance of teamwork, flexibility and creating a workplace where people feel supported both professionally and personally. We're incredibly grateful for everything Naomi has contributed over the last 10 years and look forward to seeing what the next chapter of her journey brings.
