A Decade of Dedication: Celebrating 10 Years with Alisha Hargreaves
Today, we’re delighted to be celebrating a very special milestone at Speed Medical. We’re pleased to welcome Alisha Hargreaves as we recognise and congratulate them on reaching 10 years of service with the business.
This is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of their dedication, commitment, and the positive impact they’ve made over the years. We’re going to ask a few questions to look back on their journey with Speed Medical, hear about their experiences, and reflect on what this milestone means to them.
What was your role when you first joined?
When I first joined Speed Medical 10 years ago, starting out working on case creates out of hours. From there, I progressed into triage calls, then moved into the rehab and further treatment team full-time in 2018.
Over the years, I’ve gained a much broader understanding of the full client journey, from the initial case set-up through to treatment and the final stage of there files. Each step has helped me develop new skills and understand the clients files more.
Looking back at your time with Speed Medical, what changes or improvements are you most proud to have been a part of?
I’m proud to have been part of the improvements in how we manage cases efficiently It’s also been good to contribute to team development and support newer colleagues as they’ve grown in their roles.
How have you seen the business evolve over the years, and what do you think makes Speed Medical unique today?
The business has grown and adapted significantly over the years, particularly in regard to new systems and processes to improve efficiency.
What makes Speed Medical unique is the people. There’s a strong sense of teamwork and responsibility.
What has kept you motivated to stay with Speed Medical for 10 years?
The opportunities to grow and move into different roles have been a motivator. I’ve been able to develop new skills and take on new challenges, which has kept the role interesting and helped me gain confidence and grow.
Is there a team, colleague, or leader who has had a particularly positive impact on your journey here?
I've been fortunate to work with a number of supportive managers an team leaders over the years, having managers who encourage development and trust you to take on a new responsibility has made a real difference for my confidence
What’s one moment or achievement during your time at Speed Medical that you’ll always remember?

What advice would you give to someone just starting their career at Speed Medical today?
Take every opportunity to learn and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. There are so many different areas of the business to explore, and each one helps you build a better understanding of the bigger picture.
Finally, what are you most looking forward to in the next chapter of your journey with Speed Medical?
I’m looking forward to continuing to grow, developing my skills further, and contributing to the ongoing success of the team.
