Speed Medical Sales Team Welcomes New Addition
Adam Hawkins joined us as a New Business Development Manager earlier this month with a clear focus on driving additional new business into Speed Medical.
Adam has worked in sales for pretty much his entire professional career. Honing his skills at organisations including Simply Law Jobs and working as a legal recruiter into the PI sector, Adam brings with him a number of strong, long lasting relationships.
We spent some time getting to know Adam and about his new role…
What will your main responsibilities be as BDM?
I am responsible for driving additional new business to Speed Medical and I am confident that the values, ethics, and customer service passion which already exist within the business will help me immensely.
Why did you decide to apply for the role?
Apart from the obvious it seemed a great place that would support someone in their career. I also like the fact we have other components in the group that complement each other. The sales team are extremely focused and highly experienced, and I relish the opportunity of working with such a professional team and learning more to excel in my role.
What are you going to bring to your new role?
Tenacity and a drive to succeed, perhaps a little humour and a raft of new customers who will enjoy Speed as much as I have so far!!
What are you hoping to achieve with us?
I have a lot to learn and I’m by no means the finished article however, I learn quickly and with the continued assistance of the great staff at Speed Medical will see results sooner rather than later in order to progress with my career.
What benefit will your role bring to our customers?
The role really excites me because of the constant challenges the industry is forever facing and is no doubt going to keep me on my toes. I aim to reach out to a lot of my past customers as well as new and help them to understand how they can get the best out of our service and subsequently get the best outcome for their clients.
Tell us a little about yourself outside of work
I am originally from Liverpool but somehow ended up settling in Chorley. I love watching football, I am Liverpool supporter more so over the last couple of years. I like to keep active by taking my two dogs for long walks and used to go the gym religiously but decided I would take a couple of years off until COVID is over!
Interesting facts, do you have any?
I jumped out of plane at 13000 feet for charity, at the time I said I would love to do it again, but the thought of that now just send shivers down my spine!
I would like to say I have done many other interesting things, but I’m not that interesting sorry….although, I can whistle without people knowing it’s me which can spook people out sometimes!
